Week 2: April 9-13th was "This is College" week. This was an awesome time to profile the exciting range of educational programs at Hostos Community College. Students were shown there are more opportunities than they might expect and that there's a place for every hardworking student in higher education.

Check out one of Hostos' very own students speaking to a crowd of activists in last week's #WALKOUT. The turnout was MUCH bigger than expected! AMAZING! It was warming to see so many students take a stand for what they believe in, in this case, protecting lives of students across the country (including their own!). Despite the 20 degree weather, Hostos Community College showed once again that they won't be silenced. Also, check our Flickr page under "Our Media" to see more pictures from the march. Week 1: April 2-6th was "Why College Promise" week. Across the country, thousands of students are attending college at lower-than-ever costs, with the help of the College Promise Campaign.
